Tulsi Gabbard Tamayo

Tulsi Gabbard Tamayo, a member of the Democratic Party was elected to the Hawaii State House of Representatives of the Hawaii State Legislature in 2002 representing the 42nd Representative District. The 42nd District includes the areas of Waipahu, Honouliuli and Ewa on the island of Oahu.
Tamayo is a member of the National Guard's 29th Infantry Brigade, which was mobilized August 16, 2004 for a year-long Iraq tour that is set to start in February 2005. U.S. Department of Defense rules prohibit state Rep. Tulsi Gabbard Tamayo from running for re-election in 2004.
