This is a dKosopedia Project Proposal. Please comment in discussion, and make any changes below that you feel are appropriate.
An understanding of history gives us the cultural and political foundation for what is happening now, and what lessons we need to learn for the future. This project exists to coordinate the efforts of documenting those historical events that influence our political activism.

Guidelines
dKosopedia is not a general encyclopedia like Wikipedia. We don't want articles on anything and everything. Please keep the focus on politics and political influences.

Categories
Timeline
There are many articles on dKosopedia titled by year, decade or century. These will go in the Timeline category.
Historical events
Events that occured in the past further back than 2 presidential election cycles should be categorized as History.
Timelines
Category:Timelines are different from Category:Timeline in that they track specific events and event chains.
Project Ideas
- Add important US History events to Timeline.
