Talk:John F. Kennedy

More attention needs to be paid to JFK's rhetorical skills. He left Nixon choking dust in their TV debate on defense policy because his statements were cogent, sharp, and backed by evidence. The opposite kind of debating technique is exemplified by Dole, who would little more than repeat "tax and spend liberals" and other such slogans in an angry voice. Kerry and most other current voices are vapid, little better than Dole in overall effect. p0m 22:05, 31 Jan 2006 (PST)
