Stephen B. Pence
From dKosopedia
Stephen B. Pence (R) was the Lt. Gov. of Kentucky from 2003 to 2007. In May 2006, he announced that he would not be running for re-election, and many people speculate that he did not want to be associated with the corruption scandal surrounding Governor Ernie Fletcher.
Pence is a former U.S. attorney for western Kentucky, who made his name prosecuting legislative bribery and influence-peddling scandals in the state in 1990s. He was a late choice for Lt. Gov., after Fletcher's original pick failed to meet the residency requirement.
