Sirhan Sirhan or Sirhan Bishara Sirhan assassinated U.S. Senator Robert F. Kennedy on June 5, 1968, in Los Angeles, just minutes after the senator had won the 1968 California Democratic Party presidential primary. Kennedy lived until the early morning hours of June 6, 1968.

Personal information

Born on March 19, 1944 to Maronite Christian Palestinian parents in Jerusalem, Sirhan converted to other forms of Christianity, becoming in turn a Baptist, Seventh-day Adventist, and Rosicrucianist.
