Romy Mindo, a member of the Democratic Party, was first elected to the Hawaii State House of Representatives of the Hawaii State Legislature in 2002 representing the 43rd Representative District. The 43rd Representative District includes the areas of Ewa and West Loch on the island of Oahu.
In the 2004 general election, Mindo was defeated by his Republican opponent Kymberly Pine.
