The Pele Defense Fund (PDF) is an organization that was formed to defend traditional Native Hawaiian rights in Wao Kele O Puna a rainforest located in Puna on the island of Hawai'i. Wao Kele O Puna is now being acquired by the Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA) for preservation and protection.

The Pele Defense Fund has been successful in preventing geothermal development and maintaining Native Hawaiian rights in Wao Kele O Puna.
