Paul Pate

Paul Pate (R) was mayor of Cedar Rapids, Iowa from 2002 to 2005. He also served as Iowa's Secretary of State from 1995 to 1998, and before that he held a seat in the State Senate. He sought the Republican nomination for Governor in 1998, but lost the primary.
