Mary Ann Hanusa

Mary Ann Hanusa is a Republican from Council Bluffs, Iowa, and she ran for Secretary of State, but lost to Michael A. Mauro, see Iowa Statewide elections, 2006. For the last five years, she has lived in northern Virginia and worked in the mailroom of the George W. Bush administration. During all that time, she somehow stayed registered to vote in Iowa.
She worked as a staffer for U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley, from 1996 to 2001. She is 43 years old.
