Honolulu's Chinatown, is part of Honolulu's historic 'dowtown' area near Honolulu Harbor and adjacent to the financial district. Known for its open air markets, Chinatown is one of the older sections of Honolulu.

Once noted for it's seedy establishments, prostitution and a high crime rate, Chinatown is on the mend.
