From dKosopedia
Gigi Dennis (R) is the Republican Secretary of State of Colorado. After leaving office in January she will be take a job with Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association, an electric power cooperative.
Dennis was named by Gov. Bill Owens to serve out the term of Donetta Davidson, who was given a position with the Federal Election Assistance Commission after helping deliver Colorado's electoral votes to Bush in 2004. Davidson's administration was plagued with serious difficulties in both the administration of the 2004 election and in keeping her office's computer system operational.
Dennis' own problems included being overruled by the Colorado Court of Appeals for a ruling that limited union donations to political campaigns.
