Daryl Campbell is a Democratic realtor, policeman and veteran from Michigan. He ran for Congress in the 7th District, but lost the primary to Sharon Renier, see Michigan U.S. House election, 2006. He is one of the Fighting Dems.
Daryl was born and raised in Ann Arbor, which is on the west side of the 7th District. After graduating from high school, he joined the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1991. Daryl was immediately hired by the Washtenaw County Sheriff Department where he has enjoyed a 14 year career and has been promoted to the rank of Sergeant. Daryl has been a high school wrestling coach at Ann Arbor Huron School, for the past 15 years and also obtained a real estate license to become a Realtor, turning this opportunity into a very successful small business. Daryl has worked tirelessly to promote the community and to help others. Daryl and his wife Nicolle have two daughters.
