A meta substance that exists in the blogosphere. Blogxygen is created by commenting at, about, or linking to another blog. Blogs are thus fed by the existence of more and more blogxygen. The word is created by the concatenation of blog and oxygen and is mainly meant in a negative connotation.
Usage:
Let's not give that craptacular site any blogxygen.
Starve them of bloxygen!
History
The word blogxygen was created by | SquareState and Dailykos blogger |johne in trying to describe that a particular disreputable blog should be ignored. The blog should be starved of oxygen.
