Billy Dalto a Republican, and is the Oregon State Representative for Oregon State House District 21.

Background

Billy Dalto is Oregon’s youngest serving legislator, and is the first Hispanic Republican to serve in the Oregon Legislature. Now in his second term, Dalto serves as Assistant Majority Leader and chairs the House Committee on Health and Human Services.

Dalto has appointments to the Juvenile Crime Prevention Advisory Committee, Oregon Workforce Investment Board, Medical Malpractice Insurance Professional Panel, Oregon State Hospital Master Plan Steering Committee, and he served as chair of the Workgroup on Affordable Housing Options for the Developmentally Disabled.

Dalto was born in October of 1976 and grew up in Manhattan. Attended Willamette University in Salem, where he received a bachelor’s degree in history and political science.

Dalto owns a legal and issues research firm and lives in south Salem.
