Big wave

There are two kinds of destructive 'big waves that hit ocean coasts:
- storm surges associated with tropical storms or hurricanes
- tidal waves associated with earthquakes
Both do quite similar kinds of damage. Both strike once, not repeatedly, though the high water caused by both can move around and cause unusual flood control problems.
