Ben Bridges

Ben Bridges (R) is a member of the Georgia General Assembly, representing House District 10. He was first elected in 1996, after a 30 year career in the Georgia State Patrol.
Anti-science, anti-semitic wingnut
Bridges wrote a letter to state legislators in several states claiming that “Indisputable evidence — long hidden but now available to everyone — demonstrates conclusively that so-called ‘secular evolution science’ is the Big-Bang 15-billion-year alternate ‘creation scenario’ of the Pharisee Religion,”. He went on to claim the that Earth does not revolve around the Sun. His letter was endorsed and forwarded by Texas State Rep. Warren Chisum.
