Ba East is the Fijian parliamentary constituency held by Mahendra Chaudhry, Leader of the Oppistion Labour Party. It is one of 19 communal constituencies reserved for Indo-Fijians. (Of the remaining 52 parliamentary seats, 27 are reserved for other ethnic communities and 25 are deemed Open Constituencies and elected by universal suffrage). The electorate covers the eastern part of Ba, Fiji.

Likely challengers for the seat in the next General Election include Jale Baba, the SDL Campaign Manager, and Faiaz Ali another SDL candidate.
