Rob Wittman

Rob Wittman is a Republican State Delegate in Virginia. He was first elected to serve the 99th district in 2005, and before that he was on the Westmoreland County Board of Supervisors in 1995-2004, and he had been the mayor of Montross.

He was elected to Congress in a December 2007 special election.

Whittman works for the Virginia Health Department, and he holds a Ph.D. from Virginia Commonwealth University, a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Administration from the University of North Carolina, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Virginia Tech.

He and his wife Kathryn have been married more than 20 years, and they have two children.
