Religious Political Rhetoric

From dKosopedia

In recent history, the right wing has dominated the use of Christian rhetoric in public life creating the perception that fundamentalist Christianity is the only form of Christianity. Recently, this has changed as Liberal Christianity has tried to assert itself and show how the religious right can be un-Christian.

A review of some recent incidents can be found here. Gay rights, abortion and judicial appointments have been some of the hot button issues in the past few months.
