Noam Chomsky is one of the leading critics of the corporate media and more generally of the way the prevailing memes can distort the truth. Besides being an alarmingly powerful author, Noam Chomsky is a Linguist at MIT whose work is generally acknowledged to have revolutionised the field of linguistics.

Audio

Audio of Noam Chomsky commenting on the Iraq war was featured on a Madonna remix of 'Live to Tell'. The remix by Sly Ciccone is based upon clips of Bush and Blair making misleading statements, contrasted with Madonna's chorus: "A man can tell a thousand lies." Noam's comments are included near the end of the track, which can be downloaded here:
