Mark Taylor

Mark Taylor (D) is the former Lt. Gov. of Georgia. He was elected to that post in 1998, and before that he served in the State Senate fromm 1987 to 1998, eventually becoming Floor Leader. He ran for Governor, but lost to the incumbent, see Georgia Executive Branch Elections, 2006.

Mark is a graduate of the University of Georgia where he was a member of the Gridiron Secret Society.

His family runs a truck leasing company. He and his wife Sacha have one son.
