Biography

Republican Congressman Jerry Moran (born May 29, 1954) has represented Kansas' first district in the House Of Representatives since 1997. Congressman Moran grew up in rural western Kansas and graduated with degrees in economics and law from the University of Kansas. Before serving in the U.S. House Moran served 8 years as a senator in the Kansas Senate.
