Imperialism

Imperialism is a policy of strengthening one's nation by expanding its political control over a large empire, often through Colonialism. Increasinlgy of late the USA has been described in imperialistic terms by commentators. Its invasions, occupations and often successfulto destabilise other governments are a matter of historical record.
