Dan Maffei

Daniel Benjamin Maffei is a Democratic businessman from New York. He graduated from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism and Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. He worked on the House Ways and Means Committee staff for Rep. Charles B. Rangel, and also served as a aide to Senators Bill Bradley and Daniel Patrick Moynihan. In 2005, he managed the successful re-election campaign of Syracuse Mayor Matt Driscoll.

He was defeated in a bid for Congress in the 25th District, see New York U.S. House election, 2006.
