D-Day Revolution

From dKosopedia

In late 2006 Patriots of America tired of the War in Iraq and starving for change voted for 29 Democrats to replace Republicans in the House and six Democrats to Replace Republicans in the Senate.

It was the most costly election on record and many a good RINO and Democrat was not elected that year.

But it was worth it for these elections gave Democrats control of both halves of Congress and ended Republican Domination of our government.[1]

2008 Republican retrospective

In 2008 Rep. Tom Davis of Virginia, former chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee sent a 20-page memo to colleagues.

“The political atmosphere facing House Republicans this November is the worst since Watergate and far more toxic than the fall of 2006 when we lost 30 seats (and our majority) and came within a couple of percentage points of losing another 15 seats,” Davis wrote. [2]
