Animal Rights

From dKosopedia

Around the world, non-human animals are used in ways that would be in breach of human rights if humans were used in the same ways. For example: cows, pigs, sheep, chickens, dogs and cats are all kept in factory-farms. They are imprisoned in tiny living spaces and not allowed access to clean air, sunlight or exercise. Other animals are injected with chemicals or surgically operated upon for scientific research. All of these forms of animal exploitation are necessitated by human habits such as meat eating, and legal structures such as the laws requiring new drugs to be tested on animals.

Animal rights advocates and vegans do not eat meat or support animal experimentation.
